HEALTH CARE INFORMATION SYSTEMS

All NOVASOFT products are in the Healthcare area, and include everything from the Primary Healthcare Sector to the more specialized PAT-WIN and CM4HIS, to the clinical quality control of CQI-ED.

	Hospital information system which enables the management of clinical information of the hospital or clinic to be performed easily.
	This information system for Primary Healthcare is now successfully up and running in 40 different Health Centers in various parts of Spain. It is a client-server based application with a powerful, yet friendly interface of user-based windows which allows the use of data bases of different makes.
	The pathology department information system is an application that can be installed independently, or in an integrated form, as an additional module to HIS. It manages laboratories and creates reports.
	The executive information system is an application which assists the integration of the hospital administration. Its open design allows the user to determine benchmarks. This helps him to make the most of his data base when preparing statistics.
	The Medical case histories information system is directed to doctor's office in Health Centers to abstract and collect all the patients' clinical data. The clinical history is presented in a file, where the clinical and insurance details are noted, and a series of sheets presented in the form of buttons which expand their content when pressed by the mouse.
	The Temporary Sickness/Invalidity Files Information System has been created to facilitate the complete management of these files. As well as dealing with these, it also manages the health professional's diary and can produce statistical information from the data it controls.
	Continuous Quality Improvement for Emergency Departments is a support tool for continual improvement in the quality of assistance. The design of this application is supported by the work of the Mercy Hospital in Miami (Florida USA), one of the most active and up-to-date centers using in this methodology.
