HEALTH CARE SYSTEM INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Information System for Sickness/Invalidity Files

SIEXI is a windows based programme for the filing of `patient notes´.

This program deals with everything to do with the files, from their creation including appointments, tests and final report of the file. SIEXI facilitates the manual creation of the files and their automatic loading onto diskettes from the Social Security offices. Options can be added to help one follow and consult the files. It also controls the diaries of the health professional, which eases the work of the administrative staff in the installation center.

SIEXI includes a great number of statistics that help control the quantity of work done by the center. It also includes a module to deal with master files, which facilitates the management of general information tables: Center Personnel, Surgeries and how they are programmed, Problems and motives for visit, Type of visit, Bank Holidays, etc.

Register: This covers the receiving of files, the making of appointments and direct entry to the report on the case. This module manages the creation of files and the appointments that can be made. It manages the newly created files as well as the files that come from visits and those files where tests have been asked for. It also manages the direct entry into the report files.

Files: This option makes it easy to deal with and consult the file, like the management of a specialist's diary.

Documents: This option helps us to deal with the center's correspondence, both external correspondence and that referring to files dealt with in the center.

Statistics: This includes a whole series of reports that give the necessary information to maintain an efficient control of the center.
