Resumen de la historia clínica:

Fifty-year old male patient with a thyroid tumour in 2003. In August 2005 a CT scan showed a 2cm tumour in the left lobe of the liver. Plasma CEA level: 436ng/ml; a -fetoprotein and calcitonin levels normal.

A liver core biopsy was performed.
