Resumen de la historia clínica:

Paciente varón de 38 años sin antecedentes médicos de interés, que presenta un nódulo a nivel cervical anterior desde hace 5 años, con crecimiento durante el último año por lo que decide consultar. Visto por el servicio de Endocrinología, se decide la realización de PAAF e iniciar tratamiento con levotiroxina. Ante el diagnóstico de punción, se decide tiroidectomía total, de la cual enviamos un corte histológico.

Thirty-eight year old male patient with a 5cm anterior cervical nodule for 5 years, with enlargement in the last year. FNA was done, the result of which led to beginning of treatment with levothyroxine and to total thyroidectomy.
