Resumen de la historia clínica:

Fifty-nine year old male patient with a 7,5 cm tumour in the left thyroid lobe – lobectomy in June 2005: the tumour had a capsule; regional lymph node dissection was also performed. Histologic diagnosis: follicular adenoma and papillary carcinoma lymph node metastases.

Later in June 2005 the patient underwent completion of the thyroidectomy and 12 lymph nodes were obtained.
