Resumen de la historia clínica:

F.C., sexo feminino, 66 anos.
Diagnóstico clínico: Bócio? Carcinoma?
(Citologia aspirativa noutro hospital – carcinoma papilar da tiroideia).

Sixty-six year old female patient with clinical diagnosis of goiter? Carcinoma? There was a previous FNA that had been performed elsewhere, the diagnosis was papillary carcinoma. Grossly the total thyroidectomy specimen weighed 22gr. with nodules in both lobes, the largest in the right lobe, measuring 2cm in diameter, partially capsulated.

Macroscopia:

Peça de tiroidectomia total com 22 g e nódulos em ambos os lobos, o maior parcialmente capsulado, com 2 cm de diâmetro, no lobo direito.
