How to Come

The airport of Madrid - Barajas is located relatively close to the city of Madrid (12 Km East of Madrid). The easiest way to get to the Hotel Monterreal from the airport is to take a taxi. The Hotel Monterreal (or Hotel Monte Real) is located at c/ Arroyofresno 7, at the north-west part of Madrid, as indicated in the attached map. The total cost should be around 3000 pesetas (20 - 30 US dollars). If you need a receipt, please say "Un recibo, por favor". Nevertheless, the airport is connected to the Madrid subway system, and there is a bus line from the airport terminals to "Plaza de Colón" in the city center (bus ticket costs around 400 pesetas (3 US dollars)).

If you come by train, Madrid main train stations are Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios and Atocha. From there, it is recommended to take a taxi to the hotel (around 2500 pesetas (18 US dollars)).

If you come by car, please notice in the map that the hotel is located close to the north-west part fo the M-30 road.
