ABSTRACT

The virtual epidermal cells on the computer memory (on the display) were divided to make the skin-like formation by applied cellular automaton. More than 50 functions as the controller of coordinates, a radius, a position and frequency of division, the tendency of adhesion, and the disappearance and transformation rate on horny layer were embedded in each cell. The division started from the basal and increased in number, then cells pushed each other like pin balls followed by making the spinous, granular and horny layer. To make rete ridge the transmission of divisional data to neighborhood cells as "Turing theory" was needed. Making of hair follicle or cyst-like structure was possible by regulating the adhesive rate and the speed of keratinization. A certain nature of the function in a cell on virtual epidermis was taken and embedded in the cells on the other screen. By fixing the nature in some range virtual tumor proliferated like seborrheic keratosis, actinic keratosis, BowenŠñ disease or SCC. Mass and fractal dimension of cell arrangement on virtual skin tumors were compared with the real skin tumors. Virtual exocytosis and its influence to cells of surroundings were also examined
