Spectacular image, I had never seen one in histology, and it is the image that I will always remember. We are barely accustomed in Spain to parasitic infestations, and most probable, we shall need to get used to them, because they will be more frequent. I encourage the rest of the congress delegates to present other parasite cases.

Espectacular imagen, nunca había visto una en histología y es una imagen que recordaré siempre. Estamos demasiado poco acostumbrados en España a infecciones parasitarias y con toda posibilidad tendremos que acostumbrarnos a ellas ya que serán cada vez más habituales. Animo a los diversos visitantes del congreso a mostrar otros parásitos.

I am in complete agreement with Dr. Garcia de la Torre, that we should become used to see this type of pathology in Spain. Many thanks to Dr, Martin Davila for submitting the case.

I have seen, quite often, this kind of parasite in my country, but these images are excellent.
He visto con cierta frecuencia este tipo de parasito en mi pais, pero estas imagenes son espectaculares

Soon, we will clearly have more opportunities to observe histological images of parasitic diseases in Spain.
Está claro que tenemos más oportunidad de observar imagenes histológicas de enfermedades parasitarias en España.

I am having problems with some of the slides-it may be that my computer is at fault-I am unable to get sharply focussed images at higher magnifications. i wonder if any of the other participants hface similar problems.However, examining the whole slide using these navigational tools is exciting.

Dear Dr. Palanivelu,
During some part of the day we also have problems to visualize correctly some of these cases (particularly cases 13 to 22), but in general, transmission of images seems to be working well. In order to try to overcome these difficulties, we will make copies of some of these cases that we are having difficulties with, into other servers, using alternative viewers.

Histological image is beautiful. In our hospital we had an autopsy case of a Colombian woman who died from cranial hypertension secondary to intraventricular cysticercus. I enjoyed the case. Congratulations.
La imagen histológica es preciosa...en nuestro hospital tuvimos un caso de autopsia de una mujer colombiana que falleció por un cuadro de hipertension craneal secundaria a un cisticerco intraventricular. Me ha encantado el caso, enhorabuena.

We use to see similar cases here in Africa. We have diagnosed it in breast, shoulders, thigh (soft tissues), not withstanding the numerous cases we have had in intracranial location. Congratulations!
Mencionaba en relación a uno de mis casos presentados en el congreso, la necesidad que siempre tenemos de éste diagnóstico diferencial cuando se localiza intracraneal. Pero realmente los hemos diagnosticado en partes blandas hasta en mama. La morfología es típica en cualquier localización.

Very interesting case and images, although I find it difficult to focus, not only in this case, but in others too, and that makes more difficult the diagnosis. Congratulations.
Muy interesante caso e imágenes, aunque me cuestan enfocar, no solo este caso hay otros y esto perjudica el diagnóstico. Enhorabuena.

We have seen cases like this in central nervous system at the Hospital Roosevelt and General San Juan de Dios, Guatemala. I think this case can be diagnosed.
De estos casos hemos visto en sistema nervioso central en el hospital Roosevelt y General San Juan de Dios de Guatemala. caso que creo que se puede diagnosticar.

The pictures of this case are excellent, and it should be familiar for Latin-American pathologists, due to the high incidence in some of these countries, mainly in less developed ones. Globalisation are carrying them also to the First World

I would like to make clear that, unlike other colleagues, I didn’t have any problem to visualize the images in this novel and interesting congress.
Magníficas fotografías de este caso que para los patólogos latinoamericanos resulta familiar, vista la incidencia particularmente alta en algunos países, especialmente los menos favorecidos económicamente, la globalización ya los está transportando tambien al primer mundo.
Felicidades.
Quisiera aclarar que a diferencia de lo comentado por algunos colegas no he tenido ningun problema en la visualización de las imágenes de este novedoso e interesante congreso.

I had never seen one in my personal experience, but this congress stimulated me to review the different parasitic infections. I enjoyed the case and I am in agree, is a fantastic case. Congratulations.
No vi un caso con este diagnóstico previamente, pero el congreso me estimuló a revisar las diferentes infecciones parasitarias. Me encantó el caso y estoy de acuerdo. Es un caso fantástico. Felicitaciones.
